Typical Duties include:
- Preparing and leading interesting and enjoyable excursions and activities. Activities include social, cultural and arts & crafts activities such as punting, disco nights, sports, t-shirt designing etc. Excursions include trips to London, Warwick Castle, Rutland Water, and Norwich.
- Promoting the social program to students and driving student engagement.
- Monitoring stock, managing course budget and ensuring welfare and discipline on all activities.

The Centre Manager is the most senior post at the Young Learners Centre where the postholder is expected to successfully manage all aspects of the day to day running of the centre; including overseeing and implementing a robust and effective welfare, academic, leisure and transfers programme.
Summer 2024 Activity Manager
The role of Activity Manager is one of high responsibility directly contributing to the enjoyment, participation and safety of our Young Learners on the activity programme at the centre. The role supports and manages the training, inclusion and cohesion of all Activity staff and staff assigned to activity duties.
Summer 2024 Welfare Manager
The role of Welfare Manager is one of high responsibility directly concerned with the welfare of our Young Learners as well as the support and management of all House Supervisors and all staff assigned to welfare and pastoral duties.
The role requires the Welfare Manager to take overall responsibility for the safety and well-being of the students while they are on site, including monitoring illness, homesickness and any absence from lessons or activities.
What is the role of a Centre Administrator?
The Centre Administrator is responsible the daily functioning of the centre management office on-site in the centre. The Centre Administrator will provide administrative support for the centre management team and the wider staff, and duties will include record-keeping, managing passports and pocket money, booking medical appointments, form-chasing, printing and ordering centre/teaching supplies as necessary.
