POSITION OVERVIEW

You Can Camp is looking for English Native Level Speakers for individual(1:1) and small group classes (1:4). We work with a small and great team of freelancer teachers who provide great quality teaching of English as a second language to Italian Kids and Teens.

Online teaching experience with Kids and teens is required to apply for the position.

My English School in Europe is looking for freelance online English teachers to teach groups of adult students online, via our flexible online timetable: Connect.

We provide a comprehensive professional development program for teachers who wish to grow with us, as well as a pay scale, tied to improvement, which allows you to make steps up as you gain experience with us.

My English School is a network of schools in Italy, France, Switzerland and Spain, with over 80 schools.

Our students are adult learners from around the world, mainly at B1 to C2 level, who want to improve fluency, confidence, accuracy, pronunciation, and real world English. Lessons are delivered online and are tailored to each students objectives.

You'll be teaching:

One to one online lessons with adult learners
General English, speaking and fluency
Grammar and vocabulary development
Pronunciation and natural spoken English
Exam preparation where appropriate (IELTS and Cambridge exams)

Residential summer school EFL teacher positions approx £570 per week after deductions. No pastoral care, occasional 1 hour evening sessions.

Working weeks generally operate on a 2 days teaching (4x 60 minute lessons) followed by a third non-teaching day when students are on an excursion. This may vary centre to centre.

Assistant to Head of English Department:
- Schedule classes, exams, meetings
- Prepare agendas, minutes, reports
- Manage department resources
- Coordinate teacher observations & PD sessions
- Track curriculum coverage & assessment data
- Support head with admin tasks & documentation
- Organize events (debates, spelling bees, literacy week)

English Teacher: Plan and deliver comprehensive English lessons that cover grammar, literature, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

The position is from 1st September 2026 to 1st of July 2027. You will be expected to carry out duties and responsibilities as set by line management and under the direction of the DoS. These include planning, preparing and delivering lessons (up to 25 hours) to a range of classes and age groups (teenagers and adults); marking and providing appropriate feedback on oral and written work; basic administration, such as keeping student registers and attendance records.
