We are looking for two EFL teachers to work with us for the upcoming academic year starting on 16th September 2024 until 21st June 2025, with the possibility of extension. The positions are open to native level speakers, with the correct qualifications and documents which allowing them to work in the EU.
Our ideal new staff members are genuinely interested in helping language learners get the most out of their English lessons. We are looking for teachers who are open to working as part of a team, pro-active and interested in developing as teachers. We offer a varied weekly timetable of 24 teaching hours plus one staff meeting/professional development workshop each week. You will have the opportunity to gain experience teaching a variety of courses and age groups, including general English and exam classes. The majority of the teaching is on-site but we also collaborate with local schools and businesses, so some off-site teaching may be required.

Job Description:
- Full time EFL teacher 25 contact hours per week (24 hours teaching and 1 weekly professional development workshop/staff meeting per week)
-Teaching General English and Cambridge/Trinity exam preparation.
-5 day teaching week, Monday to Friday

Support:
We offer support to our teachers through regular workshops for our teachers covering areas such as teaching young learners, motivating teenagers and preparing students for exams. Our DoS and senior teaching staff are on hand for advice, support and help in developing teaching ideas. We are looking for teachers who enjoy working as part of a team, sharing ideas and working towards a common goal.

Location:
Our school is in Torremaggiore (population 17 000), which is a friendly and welcoming market town in the far north of Puglia. This area offers lovely scenery and is only 30 minutes from the Adriatic coast. We are closed at the weekends, offering teachers the opportunity the chance to explore the beautiful region of Puglia and beyond.

It is very important that potential candidates bear in mind that the school is not in a big city and would therefore suit a teacher who enjoys what life has to offer in a smaller Italian town.
