Job Summary

Residential and Non-Residential EFL Teacher + Activity Leader Role based at one of our three fantastic UK Locations. Hosting approximately 50-80 children per week at our centres, you will be part of a large team delivering a memorable experience for all children attending one of ACCORD ISS' summer schools.We welcome children from all over the world and the international community during the summer is a remarkable experience for all involved. Details of Position

ACCORD International Summer Schools is seeking suitably qualified and motivated Residential and Non-Residential EFL Teachers, who are committed to working professionally within an international community and are expected to:

Teach 5.5 days per week, Elementary to Advanced levels. Average class size: 15
Follow the ACCORD ISS course plan syllabus, project topics and language activities (full training provided)
Prepare lessons with clear teaching aims, relevant differentiation and appropriate content
Accurately maintain up-to-date daily class registers and lesson records
Administer placement/progress tests and write end-of-course reports
Maintain a positive and controlled learning environment in the classroom at all times
Attend weekly teacher development meetings and input sessions, as required
Undertake any additional duties to assist in the day-to-day running of the Summer School
Assist daily with pastoral duties, activities/excursions and, when required, airport transfers (Saturdays & Sundays)
Maintain a friendly, courteous, sensitive and professional manner at all times
Respond positively to feedback and guidance

2022 SUMMER COURSE DATES:
Rossall School, Fleetwood Saturday 9th July 2022 to Saturday 6th August 2022 (Induction: Saturday 6th July starting at 10am) [2-4 week contracts available]

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL:
Native/near-native level of competence in English
University degree (completed in any discipline)
CELTA/Trinity Certificate TESOL (or Accreditation UK recognised equivalent)
At least 1 years experience, preferably with Young Learners
Availability for pre-course induction (dates vary according to centre)
DESIRABLE: DELTA / CELTYL / QTS (Primary or Secondary) and Summer School experience
All references will be checked regarding each applicants suitability to have responsibility for, substantial access to, and care of children under 18.
Proof of Identity and all relevant qualifications will be required and photocopies taken of the original certificates.
An enhanced DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check will be completed prior to confirmation of appointment.
Foreign police checks will be required, where necessary.
Any gaps in an applicants employment history must be explained satisfactorily.

Salary and Benefits

Competitive salary:
Residential - Salary of £480 per week + food and accommodation including exclusive use of the schools facilities depending upon availability.
Non-Residential - £20 per hour.
