Summers Abroad specialises in organising junior summer residential English language courses in the UK for groups of young people aged 10-17. We currently offer two excellent programmes at Hockerill College, Bishop's Stortford, near London, and Nottingham University. The director, Russell Lynch, has had over 30 years' experience. Job Summary

Details of Position

We are looking to recruit Centre Managers and Activity Managers, if possible with British Council inspection experience, and activity leaders for our residential summer schools for international teenage students to be held at Hockerill College, Bishop's Stortford from 8 July to 5 August 2024 and Nottingham University from 1 to 29 July 2024. Residential positions with full board and accommodation provided.

Activity leaders should be enthusiastic, reliable, friendly and well-organised (preferably with an interest in sport/art/drama). First Aid/lifeguard qualification for activity leader position a bonus but not essential. Salary from £450 per week for the activity leaders plus full board and accommodation.

Salary £700 for the Activity Manager and £800 for the Centre Manager. Plus full board and accommodation for both positions.

We are a small organisation with a family atmosphere and are looking for staff who enjoy the summer school experience.
