Details of Position

MC Academy is looking for enthusiastic and talented EFL teachers, for both our Liverpool and Manchester schools. Candidates will teach international learners aged 16 and above. We offer face-to-face General English classes from Beginner to Advanced level as well as IELTS, Cambridge and OET exam preparation courses, ESP, EAP, Skills and Conversation classes.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements
Educated to degree level.
Cambridge CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL.
All staff are required to complete an Enhanced DBS Check and complete an online Safeguarding course.
Eligible to work and live in the UK.

Desirable Requirements
Minimum of one years teaching experience.
Experience preparing students for the IELTS exam preferable.
Cambridge DELTA.

Salary and Benefits

Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience ranging from £14.50 to £18.00 per hour.

Hours vary from 8am- 6pm from Monday to Friday

Job Summary

To plan and deliver effective and engaging lessons to international students aged 16+;
Ensure administrative tasks such as taking attendance, weekly plans, completing student reports, recording test results and attending CPDs are all completed in a timely manner;
Administer, invigilate and mark a pre-made end-of-unit test every Friday;
Adhere to the safeguarding policy, attend training in this regard and follow procedures;
Check emails daily and respond in a timely manner if required.
