InterEducation is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, dedicated teachers who can engage and inspire teenage students.
InterEducation's homestay study holidays aim to give students the opportunity to practise and improve their English, particularly their spoken English, as well as to increase their understanding of life in Britain.
The courses include a full programme of visits and excursions in addition to the study sessions. Each course is arranged for between 12 and 30 students from various European countries. Students are within the age range of 11-19 (mainly 13-17). Students are divided according to ability into classes of about fifteen.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF TEACHERS
Duties are twofold. The first is to plan and execute a programme of study sessions which is motivating, challenging and student-centred (3.5 hours on four or five mornings per week, plus one afternoon project session per week). The emphasis throughout is on encouraging a confident use of everyday English. Part of each study session is devoted to a theme (e.g. British Food & Family Life, Music, Holidays & Travel, Young People in the UK, Fashion & Social Media, The Environment, Crime & The Law).
The second duty is to supervise and take an active role in the programme of excursions and local visits and activities which takes place on weekday afternoons and at weekends. Details of these will be sent to you in advance. You will be expected to be present at these events and to ensure that they run smoothly and that students are safe and participating fully.
There will also be some evening work supervising on one or two evening activities per week. You are not, incidentally, expected to be a great sports person, but you are required to organise/supervise sports sessions, such as rounders, football and volleyball.
In most cases, you will be working with one or two other teachers and there will be one or two foreign group leaders. What you will find refreshing, both inside and outside the classroom, is the enthusiasm and co-operative attitude of the students.

APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FROM EXPERIENCED, ENTHUSIASTIC AND CAPABLE TEACHERS OF EFL who have
DELTA, Trinity Dip TESOL or MA in TESOL/TEFL or First degree, CELTA or Trinity Cert.

Applicants must be native level speakers of English and must have a current enhanced DBS certificate with children's barred list check.

Salary and Benefits
RATES OF PAY for a 6-day week
Staff providing their own accommodation:
£760 - £800 per week (including holiday pay)
Staff requiring host family accommodation with full board:
£700 per week (including holiday pay)
You may claim for some travel expenses incurred in travelling to the course location or daily travel during the course.
An allowance is given for incidental expenses incurred in connection with the course.
