Native level English teacher

Our company Apex Education provides English classes with Native level English teachers to both schools and kindergartens in Ukraine. We aim to create an English-speaking environment for kids from a very young age. In 2024-2025 academic year we are launching a project within the Future Perfect program initiated and supported by Ministry of Digital Transformation and Ministry of Education of Ukraine. This project has a very important goal - to allow children in public schools and kindergartens to have access to conducive environment of learning English with Native level English teachers. The cities chosen for the project have the highest amounts of internally displaced children due to the war in Ukraine.

We are currently seeking teachers for the opening roles starting 1 September 2024:
Native level English teacher with experience and qualifications to teach primary and secondary school in Poltava, Ukraine;
Native level English teacher with experience and qualifications to teach kindergarten in Poltava, Ukraine;
Native level English teacher with experience and qualifications to teach primary and secondary school in Dnipro, Ukraine;
Native level English teacher with experience and qualifications to teach kindergarten in Dnipro, Ukraine;
Native level English teacher with experience and qualifications to teach primary and secondary school in Kremenchuk, Ukraine;
Native level English teacher with experience and qualifications to teach kindergarten in Kremenchuk, Ukraine.
All the positions require teaching on-site.

Required Qualifications:
Must be a native level English speaker
In-classroom ESL experience with young learners (10-16 years old) for at least one year for a school position
In-classroom ESL experience with young learners (6-10 years old) for at least one year for a school position
In-classroom ESL experience with young learners (3-6 years old) for at least one year for a kindergarten position
CELTA, TESOL, TEFL or equivalent Teaching Certificate
At least BA degree in Education/Teaching/ Early Child Teaching/ Pedagogy/Special education or similar
Police Clearance Check and References
Experience in projects with social impact would be a plus

Roles and Responsibilities:
Teaching strictly within the program assigned by the school/kindergarten
Creating lesson plans following the programs and books assigned
Filling out necessary forms and assignments, grading students reqular assesments
Attending trainings and webinars if assigned
Regular communication with the school/kindergarten and our office
Participating in video assessment lessons if assigned

Competitive salary 82000UAH(2200USD)

Monday Friday schedule (weekends always off)
Maximum 13,5 teaching hours + 7 office hours per week

We take into account all safety precautions. In case of air alarms, the lessons continue in school bomb shelters ONLY. You will receive safety training from HR and be supported throughout the employment process.
