Job Summary
Details of Position
We currently have two centres in France (Lyon and Dijon) and we will soon be opening centres in other French cities. We're currently looking for English Teachers to join the team in these cities, either freelance or on a full CDD/CDI contract.
Successful candidates will teach a mix of individual and group classes for adults, with a mixture of grammar-based and speaking-based lessons. Our lessons last one hour and have groups of students that can change due to our flexible booking system.
The weekly timetable would be flexible, but MyES teachers tend to teach 3-4 evenings per week, and some Saturdays (although it's possible for teachers to have Mondays off when they work Saturdays!)
Ideal candidates will be:
-a passionate communicative language teacher with a certification and at least 1 year of experience
-able to build rapport with students and facilitate conversation
-keen to participate in the life of the school, sharing ideas and running your own events
-someone who brings lots of energy and positivity to work!

Qualifications
- Native-level English speaker
- Qualified English teacher with a CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL or other TEFL certification
- Have at least one year of previous teaching experience
- Proactive, positive, flexible, empathetic and professional
Please note that we can only accept applicants with permission to work in France (either EU passport holders or French residents).
Salary and Benefits
Freelance roles allow a higher hourly rate (20-23 euros per hour) but without the benefits of a CDD/CDI contract. Even on a freelance contract, with the right availability, we are able to guarantee a fixed number of weekly/monthly hours.
