Discovery Summer is recruiting an enterprising and energetic Course Director for a residential summer school at Winchester College for 15-17-year-olds of a wide number of nationalities.

The Course Director is responsible for leading and managing the course effectively and for the safety and well-being of all course participants.

You will lead the senior team as well as the wider team of approximately 20 new and experienced staff. In 2023, 45% of our staff had worked with us before.

Our students have come to England to improve their English and learn new skills on our Pre-University programme. You will work closely with Head Office to ensure the student experience is exceptional and the needs of all parties are met and, wherever possible, exceeded.

We expect our Course Directors to have high aspirations and the ability to promote and deliver the values and ethos of Discovery Summer

Induction + course dates: Mon 1 July Friday 2 August.
All our staff work hard: residential staff work a 6-day week with one 24-hour period off per week. To compensate we offer excellent rates of pay and provide free meals and accommodation at the school.

We are a family-run organisation with over 20 years experience running top quality summer programmes. We have truly multinational courses with limits on each language group. In 2023 we welcomed students of 54 different nationalities. Up to 10% of students are British: our English Student Hosts who are fully integrated with the programme.

We are accredited by the British Council and were awarded 12 strengths in our 2023 inspection.
