We are currently recruiting teachers for non-residential positions in/near London
Collingham (Kensington, central London):
Age range: juniors (aged 5-17) or adults
Start date: Mon 24 June for 5-7 weeks (+ induction Sat 22 June). Some later start dates available
Location: 23 Collingham Gardens, London, SW5 0HL. Nearest tube: Gloucester Road or Earls Court.
Class times: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 12:30 with afternoon classes 13:30-17:00 available during certain weeks
Contact hours: 17.5 or 35 hours per week
Marymount:
Age range: juniors 8-13 years
Start date: Mon 1 July for 4-5 weeks (+ induction Thurs 27, Friday 28 June)
Location: Marymount International School, George Road, Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey, KT2 7PE
Class times: Monday to Friday. Hours vary day by day. 24.5 contact hours per week.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, communicative EFL lessons. Lessons will include engaging activities to help students develop accuracy, fluency and most importantly, confidence in spoken English.
We are a family-run organisation with over 20 years experience running top quality summer programmes. We have truly multinational courses with limits on each language group. In 2023 we welcomed students of 54 different nationalities.
Working with Discovery Summer provides an excellent opportunity to join an experienced team (in 2023 over 40% of our teachers had worked with us before) and acquire new teaching skills in one of the UKs top British Council accredited schools. In our 2023 British Council inspection we were awarded 12 strengths.

Qualifications
Essential
Must have a UK passport/right to work in the UK at the start of your contract
First degree (any discipline)
CELTA, Trinity TESOL, BEd/PGCE (Primary Education, English or MFL) or EFL Level 5 equivalent (other qualifications will be considered)
Ability to provide a clear and accurate model of the English language
Passionate about teaching and learning
Desirable
Experience of teaching multi-lingual classes
Young Learner specialism e.g. TYLEC
Personal Attributes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Capacity to work alongside colleagues, contributing effectively to a team
Good administrative / ICT skills

From £20.00 to £25.90 per hour + 12.07% holiday pay + £20 or £40 per week payment for meetings.
