THE ACADEMY and ME I am the owner and co-teacher of this academy, married with a small child but still with time to rock climb, surf and visit local places. I am very serious about work, about delivering great lessons and retaining my students. Despite this I can be a laid back employer as long as students are happy and making progress. I am fair and for this reason the salary is high relative to other jobs in Spain, because I am looking for someone who will dedicate themselves to the business.

Job Summary

Details of Position

I am in need of a teacher who wants to work in a small friendly team, teaching children from 5 years up to teens, delivering lessons which encourage speaking and enjoyment. A cheerful and positive attitude is required.

The post is well paid for Spain, and I would love to tell you more if you can get in touch.

I am looking for someone with experience, but we will help with planning and prepping lessons: most of this work is already done. The main thing is to look after the class, manage behaviour, and deliver the material from a solid grammar knowledge base, and make the time enjoyable for students

You will be expected to manage the classroom independently, to use the planning folders to organise your classes and maybe prepare extra materials, and to be a self sufficient worker

As your boss I will pay on time every month, show you our systems, support you with grammar or ideas if needed, and communicate with parents when needed

In a nutshell: the ideal teacher is someone reliable, experienced, friendly, and who cares about their students - native or native level

Teaching experience: 2 years

Native level English speaker preferred

Qualifications

Ideally I want someone with CELTA
