Details of Position

Language Link Vietnam is currently seeking an Academic Coordinator (AC) to join our public schools programme, Schools Link!

Schools Link is Language Link's highly successful English language education program in Vietnamese public schools. We currently have more than 180 foreign English teachers teaching over 32,000 students in Hanois urban districts.

Start Date: May 2024

Qualifications

- A bachelors degree;
- A CELTA (or equivalent) teaching certificate with teaching practicum;
- At least 1 year of experience in academic management;
- At least 3 years of experience in teaching young learner and IELTS (preferably in public schools);
- Strong knowledge of academic standards and curriculum development;
- Detail-oriented: ensure every academic task and process is handled with accuracy and attention to detail;
- Excellent leadership: guide, motivate, and support academic staff (Regional Head Teachers and teachers) and students;
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills: build and maintain relationships with partner schools, students and other stakeholders.

Job Summary

- Developing & implementing academic curriculum & educational programs
- Coordinating with team members to align the curriculum with the educationaal goals
- Monitoring students & teachers progress, providing feedback
- Conducting workshops to develop teachers'specific competencies
- Reviewing & updating academic policies & procedures
- Maintaining records of academic performance, progress, and attendance;
- Supporting/ being involved in school outreach events
- Handling issues &supporting staff
