Challenge Acadèmia d'Idiomes, nestled in the heart of Vilafranca del Penedès, is renowned for its outstanding reputation and commitment to excellence. As a Cambridge English exams preparation center, we specialize in teaching young learners, teens, and preparing students for Cambridge exams, ensuring a comprehensive and high-quality language education. Established in 2011, we currently educate students on our own premises as well as being responsible for running a number of additional English classes at public and private schools in the area.
We are seeking dynamic and creative teachers with a native or near-native level of English to teach children and teens. The initial contract is for the new 2024-2025 school year starting in September.

Position Details:

- Two full-time, indefinite positions available for dynamic and experienced English teachers.
- Monday to Friday schedule, mainly middays and afternoons.
- Emphasis on teaching children and teens (3-17 years old).

Academic Year: 9th September 2024 to 13th June 2025
Summer Courses: 30th June 2024 to 31st July 2025

Qualifications

- University degree in appropriate fields such as: Education, literature, languages.
- English teaching certification i.e TEFL, CELTA, TESOL. MUST
- Knowledge of Cambridge exams (up to Proficiency). MUST
- B1 level of Spanish/Catalan. MUST
- Right to work in Spain (NIE/TIE) MUST
- Native-level competence and pronunciation in English. MUST
- A clear criminal record check and sexual offences clearance certificates. MUST
- Preference given to candidates willing to live locally, in Vilafranca del Penedès or the Alt Penedès/Garraf areas.
