Teach English in Liverpool! Liverpool School of English is seeking to recruit enthusiastic and reliable EFL teachers for our Main School in July & August 2018

Details of Position

Liverpool School of English is a British Council accredited provider of EFL courses and activity programmes. Since we opened our doors in 1999, we have welcomed students from more than 60 different countries to study in one of the UKs most vibrant cities. Our aims as a school are clear and simple, we aim to ensure that:

We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and reliable EFL teachers to teach adults at our Main School from the 2nd July 2018 till the 24th August with the possibility of extending.

Educated to degree level
CELTA/Trinity CertTESOL or PGCE in English/Modern Languages with ELT/TESOL subsidiary
Minimum 1 year previous experience of teaching EFL classes
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Time management skills
IT literate
Ability to work to a high standard under pressure
Professional appearance
Enthusiastic and flexible

Experience of teaching some or all of the following courses: Cambridge Exam preparation classes inc. FCE, CAE and IELTS, Business English, English for Healthcare Professionals, CLIL
First Aid certificate

Salary and Benefits

£13.58 per hour plus 2 hours preparation time based on fifteen contact hours per week
£16.45 per hour for those who are classed as TEFLQ qualified (i.e. possessing either a diploma in ELT/TESOL or an MA in TESOL or Applied Linguistics plus 5 hours of assessed teaching practice)
