Job Summary

Bell is recruiting experienced, dedicated and responsible Centre Managers and Assistant Centre Managers for our Young Learner Courses running at four UK independent schools between June and August. These are residential posts and each school provides both staff and children with excellent premises and facilities and we offer accommodation, meals and professional development opportunities.

Details of Position

For over 40 years Bell has offered a range of outstanding Young Learner Programmes to overseas students aged 7-17. These unique courses combine academic excellence with an exciting cultural and social programme and provide students with a unique experience and exceptional care.

We are now looking to recruit experienced, dedicated and responsible Centre Managers and Assistant Centre Managers for our Young Learner Courses running at four UK independent schools between June and August.
Each school provides both staff and children with excellent premises and facilities and we offer accommodation, meals and professional development opportunities.
We are currently recruiting for the following roles:

Centre Managers
Centre Managers ensure that the centre that they have responsibility for is operating efficiently and effectively.
Duties involve inducting course staff, management of course budgets, being responsible for the student experience from arrival to departure as well as to ensure that there is appropriate supervision and support throughout.

The Assistant Centre Manager will work alongside the Centre Manager and assist in ensuring that the centre is operating efficiently and effectively.
Duties involve deputising for the Centre Manager, inducting course staff, management of course budgets, being responsible for the student experience from arrival to departure as well as ensuring that there is appropriate supervision and support throughout.

Contracts of 4 6,8 and 12 weeks are available. However, our peak period runs from late June - mid August and priority will be given to those available to complete a full course during this period.
Each school provides both staff and children with excellent premises and facilities and we offer accommodation, meals and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Centre Managers
Essential:
- Degree qualified or equivalent
- Centre management experience of a large programme
- Hospitality/sports activity management experience
- Pastoral/welfare experience
- Team leadership/people management experience
- Financial management/cash handling experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Office administration experience
- Counselling & interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication & time management skills

Desirable:
- Delta qualified
- Management experience of a Young Learner centre

Eligibility and Safe Recruitment
Applicants MUST be eligible to work in the UK

- Appropriate suitability checks will be required prior to confirmation of appointment.

Centre Managers -
- £656 (£592 Assistant)per week plus £79.18(£71.46 Assistant) per week statutory annual leave payment
