Applicants should have one of the following required qualifications:
Cambridge CELTA, Cambridge CELTA online, Trinity CertTESOL, Cambridge CELTYL, BA TEFL, BA TESOL, Trinity Joint CertTESOL, Cambridge DELTA Online, Trinity DipTESOL, Trinity CertIBET, Cambridge DELTA, Trinity Diploma in TESOL Education Studies
Teaching experience: 1 years
Native level English speaker preferred
Qualifications
- A recognised EFL/teaching qualification.
- Native level English.
- 1 year minimum relevant experience essential.
- We only offer positions to EU citizens/ permit holders.
- Knowledge of Spanish culture and language; useful but not essential.
Salary and Benefits
20 hours teaching 1550 euros gross/month ( net approx*)
22 hours teaching 1705 euros gross/month
- Teachers are covered through the Spanish National Health scheme.
- Private coverage is also provided for work-related illness.
* Depending on the teachers personal situation, teachers initially pay 2% tax for the first three months, which can then go up to 8%.
Job Location
Job Summary
For example: 40% primary (4-11), 40% secondary (12-18), 20% adults. Depends on preferences & experience.
Pupils come once/twice a week, for 60/75mins 3:30pm - 9:00pm. 7pm finish on Fridays. Some morning classes.
We follow a textbook as a springboard which allows teachers to be responsive to pupils needs.
