Ireland Idiomas is an Irish-owned language school in Asturias on the north coast of Spain, an official Cambridge Learning Partner and exam preparation centre. We set up thirty years ago in 1996.

We cater for all all levels of English from 6 years of age up to adults and since opening in 1996 we have grown to be the most prestigious school in the city of Aviles. We are a long-standing University of Cambridge Preparation Centre and are very proud of the excellent results achieved by our students down through the years.

We are based in the historic city of Aviles on Spain's northern coastline in the 'green' region of Spain. Aviles has a population of 100,000 and is within 20 minutes of the two other Asturian cities of Oviedo (250,000) and Gijon (350,000) We have a very mild climate all year round.

While we focus on all aspects of the language (writing, grammar, speaking, and listening) our approach is basically communicative and English is the only language spoken at the school. Apart from classes at the school, which is in the centre of the city within a five minute walk from the old town, we also offer in-house company classes as well as online learning.

We are recruiting motivated language teachers to join our team in October 2026 and applicants should be University graduates with an appropiate TEFL or Teaching qualification, candidates should be committed and full of energy to join our dynamic team of teachers.

The ideal candidates should have experience with all levels including young learners and Cambridge exam preparation.
