Details of Position
At Home English is looking for enthusiastic and motivated English Language Assistants to join private and state-subsidised schools across Galicia, in northwestern Spain.
JOB DETAILS
Position: English Language Assistant
Location: Schools throughout Galicia, Spain
Dates: 1 February 31 May 2027
Salary: Above the applicable collective agreement rates
Available positions: 90
Hours: 24 per week
REQUIREMENTS
Native English speaker OR a certified C1 level of English (CEFR).
EU citizenship or valid authorisation to work in Spain.
A university degree in any field
A TEFL (or equivilant) certificate
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children and teenagers.
Previous teaching experience is a plus, but not essential.
YOUR ROLE
Help students improve their English speaking and listening skills.
Encourage communication through engaging, interactive activities.
Support teachers in the classroom.
Share cultural experiences and motivate students to use English confidently.
