We are based in a residential area, just a short walk from the centre of Oviedo. The majority of our students are young learners (from 4 years old) however we also have one-to-one classes and prepare students for Cambridge exams. We are looking for somebody who is enthusiastic about teaching young learners and is willing to teach a variety of other classes.

Our classes have a maximum of eight students, and although we use textbooks in our classes, the focus is on communication and for students to enjoy the experience when studying with us. We have built a strong reputation in the local area and added a second premises in 2022. We have 5 classrooms split over two academies, which are located in neighbouring streets in Montecerrao, a 20 minute walk from the city centre.

Classes are from Monday to Friday and most of the timetable will be in the afternoon/evening. The contract is for 24 teaching hours and is generally split evenly between these days.

B2 level spoken and written Spanish would be an advantage in order to facilitate communication with parents and complete student reports each trimester.

Ideally, candidates will hold an EU passport and/or have a Spanish NIE or TIE residency card.

Due to the high number of applications we receive, we will only be able to contact shortlisted candidates. Candidates who do not hold a Cambridge CELTA or Trinity TESOL will not be considered.

An up-to-date police check from the current country of residence will be required.
