Description:
The Trinity College CertTESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) is one of the two most widely recognised EFL teaching qualifications (English as a Foreign Language). The course takes place at St Brelade's College in Jersey. It includes theory based input sessions covering the essentials such as teaching methodologies, classroom management, phonetics and grammar together with observed teaching practice to give you the confidence to stand up in front of a class, as well as teach online. The final element external moderation from Trinity College London validates the course, ensuring it is accepted by most language schools around the world including all British Council accredited schools such as ours.

Course dates: 3rd - 28th April 2023 (4 weeks full-time, plus a meeting with the moderator week commencing 1st May)
Maximum class size: 12 trainees*
Pre course preparation: Distance learning module provided
Minimum age: 18 years
Minimum qualifications: A-levels/equivalent qualifications or the study potential to achieve these
Accommodation: If you are from outside of Jersey you can stay at our student residence or we can advise on other options
Employment: Teaching opportunities at St Brelades College following the course and abroad
