Exue International Ltd is an education company based in Cambridge, UK, organising educational programmes and cultural exchanges between the UK and China. We particularly welcome teachers based in Cambridge or the surrounding area, with opportunities to meet our coordinating team and prepare together before departure. All advertised teaching assignments take place in China.

We are recruiting four English teachers and activity leaders for short-term programmes in 2027:

WINTER: Hainan, from 15 January 2027 to early February 2027.
EASTER: Programmes during the Easter holiday in April 2027.
SUMMER: Programmes during July and August 2027.

Other programme regions include Sichuan, Chongqing, Beijing, Xinjiang and other locations in China. Specific locations and assignments for Easter and summer, together with exact dates, will be confirmed during recruitment.

Applicants may apply for one or more programme periods.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging English lessons, leading discussions and group projects, supporting cultural exchange activities, collaborating with the local team and following safeguarding procedures. Responsibilities will vary by assignment. Working hours and programme schedules will be confirmed before appointment.

Appointments are subject to satisfactory references, appropriate safeguarding checks and confirmation of eligibility to undertake the role in China.

• A bachelor's degree or higher is required.
• At least one year of relevant teaching or youth-work experience is required.
• Excellent spoken and written English, strong communication skills, reliability and a collaborative approach are essential.
• A recognised TEFL/TESOL qualification, CELTA or relevant teaching qualification is preferred for teaching roles.
• Experience with young learners, holiday programmes or project-based learning is an advantage. Activity leaders should highlight experience in sports, drama, arts or group activities.
• Teachers based in Cambridge or the surrounding area are particularly encouraged to apply.
