Details of Position
Britannia School of English based in the beautiful city of Malaga and also in Las Lagunas on Mijas Costa are currently looking to add to their teams for the upcoming academic year 26/27 in their MIJAS COSTA branch. We have over 20 years experience of delivering quality EFL classes to our students, and take pride in being a well established, successful, Cambridge English examination centre.
We teach young children, teenagers, university students and adults with a general focus on achieving Cambridge certification in PRELIMINARY, FIRST, ADVANCED and PROFICIENCY.
Britannia School of English has 4 centres based in the region and we are looking to fill both full-time and part-time positions, with a start date of 1 October 2026. The course is of nine months duration until the end of June 2027.
Teaching experience: 1 years
Native level English speaker preferred

Qualifications
Cambridge CELTA
All applicants should have a minimum 1 years previous teaching experience. Teachers need to be professional, dynamic and organised with a warm and friendly personality.
Salary and Benefits
Britannia School of English offers a full and minimum 9 month contract with social security paid at source by ourselves. There are several different timetable options available with most afternoon positions commencing at 15-30 through to 20-00, and 20-30 to 21-30. The latter receiving a monthly starting salary of 1417,12 (27.5 hours per week).
The course dates are from 1 October 2026 through to 18 June 2027.
All teachers receive generous paid holidays with the centres closing over Christmas and Easter, including all local and national bank holidays.
There will be a one day induction meeting, where all teachers meet and greet new staff before enjoying a paid lunch together.
Job Location
Job Summary
Teachers normally work 4.5 or 5.5 hours per day(as per contract), although morning classes are also available to the right candidate (10-12).
Salaries are paid by bank transfer on the final Thursday of each month (9 equal payments).
