Details of Position
British Camp is a Ukrainian project with 10 years of experience. We are an English-speaking camp under a European license. We are affiliated with the International Camping Fellowship, our operations adhere to international standards. Our focus is on inspiring campers to learn English through immersion in British culture, facilitated by collaborations with the London Museum of Happiness, British sports coaches, and certified teachers. We organize holidays across three countries: Great Britain, Ukraine, and Poland. We have assembled an international team of professionals who ensure the 24/7 physical and mental safety of the children and adolescents at the camp.
We are actively recruiting qualified and experienced native level English speakers and Group leaders from European countries to work at our locations in Ukraine, Poland, the UK, and Spain
The main aim of our camp is not only to create a marvellous atmosphere for the kids by organizing exciting unique events, excursions, festivals and quests. For us, it is vital to provide campers with a proper educational process. Every year we create unique programs and academic plans to make the children's time in the camp useful and unforgettable.
Teachers in the camp are responsible for preparing and delivering 5 hours of engaging English lessons per day due to the materials that we prepare in advance. Also, teachers take part in some activities to provide the campers with an English-speaking atmosphere.
The group leader accompanies a group of children (up to 15 people) throughout the day. They are responsible for adhering to the daily schedule, ensuring the safety of the children, participating in activities, and organizing them. The group leader is the person who spends the most time with the campers, so you will become their closest friend during the stays. Together, you will prepare creative performances, go on excursions, play sports games and have fun

Qualifications
- Ideally, must have completed their freshman year of college before the camp season begins;
- Ideally currently working towards a Degree in a field like Psychology, Recreation Studies, Leisure Management, Theater or Performing Arts, Creative Arts, Sports & Health Studies, or a related field;
- Ideally, previous experience of teaching children / young people in a similar or related environment;
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to work as part of a team, sharing resources, and ideas and lending support to colleagues as required;
- Ability and confidence to lead as well as participate in activities, such as discos, quiz nights, and talent shows;
- Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team;
- Strong desire to work with children in an outdoor setting;
- Motivation to learn and practice new skills.
