Authorised by the Italian Minister of Education and test centre for all UCLES Cambridge examinations, European Computer Driving License and TOEFL, Lord Byron College is the only language school in South Italy recognised as full member of the prestigious European Association of Quality Language Services (EAQUALS). Our stated mission is top quality training for both students and staff: for several years now we have been the only language school in Italy (or anywhere else in Europe)to give our teachers completely free of charge an in house training course leading to the DELTA Diploma qualification. Job Summary

Details of Position

One of Italy's largest private language schools, with fifty years' experience, a government recognised foundation and full member of EAQUALS, the leading professional association for language education throughout the world, authorised testing and training centre for Cambridge English, IELTS, TOEFL and the Cambridge DELTA qualification. We are seeking qualified and career minded native and native level EFL teachers for the period from October 2023 to June 2024 with possibility of extension. Good working conditions, full support, possibility to become Cambridge and IELTS examiner. Unique training and development programme for both entry level and experienced teachers with FREE IN HOUSE ITALIAN COURSE, AND FREE TEACHER DEVELOPMENT COURSE AND FREE TKT COURSE OR FREE CAMBRIDGE DELTA COURSE as part of working hours.

Qualifications

Degree and TEFL qualification. Please note that we can only consider non EU applicants with right to work in the EU. We can employ Canadian teachers through the Working Holiday visa programme.

Salary and Benefits

Dynamic and supportive teaching environment, good working conditions, in house training and teacher development, free Italian language courses and TKT preparation and, depending on experience, either the IN HOUSE CAMBRIDGE DELTA COURSE or TEACHER DEVELOPMENT COURSE as part of working hours. 25 hours per week teaching and on call hours plus 2 hours paid weekly training session, either Teacher Development or in house DELTA course. 1,100 euro net per month for teachers with less than one year relevant teaching experience and 1,200 euro net for teachers with at least one full year teaching experience.
