Academia La Feria is looking for an English teacher to join us in Tafalla, Navarra, for the 202627 academic year.

We have been teaching English for over 30 years, and during that time we have developed our own way of doing things. One of the things we care about most is developing teachers.

We dont just want to give you a timetable, some course books and classes to teach.

We offer more than that.

At La Feria, you will receive ongoing training, classroom observation, honest feedback and support. You will work alongside teachers who share ideas, question what they do and are constantly looking for better ways to teach.

Because however long you have been teaching, there is always something new to learn and something we can learn from you too.

Our approach particularly with young learners has been developed over many years and is built around stories, phonics, creativity, movement and genuine communication.

But good teaching is about much more than methods, techniques, lesson plans and activities.

It is learning how to read a classroom.

How to explain something so that it suddenly clicks.

How to turn a lesson around when something isn't working.

How to get a reluctant teenager involved.

How to make a three-year-old want to communicate with you in English.

How to create lessons people remember.

That is the kind of teacher we want to help you become.

You will teach a range of ages and levels, from very young learners to teenagers and adults, and you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in phonics and Cambridge exam preparation.

What about living in Tafalla?

Tafalla is a small town in Navarra, around 30 minutes from Pamplona. It offers the chance to experience life in a smaller Spanish community rather than disappearing into another big international city.

And there's one practical worry you can cross off your list: accommodation will not be an issue. We can help you get that sorted.

Native level English speaker preferred

Cambridge CELTA

We're looking for someone who:

• Has at least one years teaching experience.
• Holds a recognised TEFL/CELTA certificate (or equivalent).
• Is a native level or bilingual English speaker.
• Brings a positive, can do attitude to teaching.
• Has a genuine passion for learning and developing as a teacher. Above all, we value enthusiasm, curiosity, and a love for inspiring students.
