Job Summary

Details of Position

We're looking for a friendly, qualified, creative and passionate ESL teacher to join our cheerful staff at our private language school. You should be comfortable and enjoy teaching English at all levels and ages (children, teenagers, adults) and have experience in Cambridge exam preparation (Young Learners, KEY, Preliminary, First, Advanced and Proficiency). You will need to have a native speaker level of competence in English and be in possession of a valid EU passport or Italian residence ID card. There is a 3 month probationary period.

Teaching experience: 3 years

Native level English speaker preferred

Qualifications

Cambridge CELTA

You should possess computer skills like WORD/libreoffice as lessons are presented in the classroom on a large screen display via PC. Additionally, experience with an online teaching platform such as GOOGLE Meet is essential. A knowledge of CEFR levels is also required.

Salary and Benefits

€1,300 / month net

≈ £1,113 / $1,502

Job Summary

25-hour teaching week Mon-Fri usually scheduled between 3:00-8:00pm. Responsibilities include planning and presenting your lessons, attending occasional meetings and participating in training sessions when required. We also organise special English lessons throughout the year outside of the classroom, such as field trips which take place during your regular working hours. There may be the opportunity to do extra classes paid separately. Period: October 16, 2026 -June 30, 2027.
