ROLE OF THE TEACHING ASSISTANT
As a teaching assistant, you will be placed in a school where you will work alongside the lead teacher or in small groups to reinforce the oral skills of the pupils, allowing you to acquire the practical skills required for the job. This involves an average of 20 hours a week, typically between September and June or October and May.
