EnglishWise was founded in 1989 by Madeleine Mackie, who obtained an MA in Hispanic Languages and Literature from the University of St.Andrews, Scotland. Our staff is made up of native and bilingual speakers who are highly qualified and have extensive experience teaching English. Furthermore, teachers are given support in order to keep up to date with the latest teaching methods, including blended learning.

Job Summary

Details of Position

EnglishWise, which is a small, friendly academy, was founded in 1989.
We teach students of all ages (from 4 years of age upwards) and levels.
Furthermore, our academy is a preparation centre for the Cambridge English examinations.
Teachers will work as a team and receive support from the other members of staff when preparing classes and materials, although we strongly encourage all employees to contribute ideas and individual skills in order to enhance their performance in the classroom.

Degree Required

Qualifications

Preferably, candidates should have a degree and a TEFL certificate.
Previous teaching experience is not necessary, although it will be valued.
C2 or native level competence and pronunciation in English.
EU National/Right to work in Spain (NIE/TIE).
