Job Summary

Details of Position

The Turing Scheme is a UK-wide programme that provides funding for international placements across the world. Successful candidates get opportunities to develop skills, boost confidence levels, and improve employability prospects. Of course, travelling and discovering new places and cultures are an added bonus.


You will be teaching in a school in either Bangkok or Nakhon Pathom (1 hour from Bangkok).

Next departure: 26th May - 25th August

Next departure: 7th April - 30th June

In your role, you will have the opportunity to develop as a teacher of English and join a team of English teachers to teach levels A2 to C1, and your responsibilities could include:

Creating class materials
Teaching classes in-person and online
Marking work and assessments
Giving feedback to students
Shadowing teachers
Planning lessons
Attending Teachers' meetings
Organising and participating in cultural activities (e.g. conversation cafés, workshops, festivals)
Teaching private lessons
Monitoring and evaluating students


Preferred if you have a TEFL or TESOL certificate.

Am I Eligible?
You don't need a degree to take part in the Turing Scheme, however there are a few criteria you must meet.

To benefit from Turing Scheme funding, you must:

Be at least 18 years old
Have a minimum of 5 GCSEs
Have previous experience or qualifications in the chosen sector
Have a permanent UK address and UK work rights
Have a valid UK (or EU) passport with more than 6 months validity after the return date
Be able to commit to the whole duration of the programme
Not be a national citizen of the destination country
