Details of Position

Melton College, York is recruiting DELTA (or equivalent) level teachers for full-time, permanent positions.
We teach juniors, 40+ and families for much of the year. We also teach ministay groups of all ages.
We provide a complete experience for our students and all the elements of our programmes (tuition, accommodation, visits, social events and excursions) combine to help our students make the most of their time in our beautiful region.

Melton College is based in our own building, a beautiful Victorian Villa in a large garden. We have been welcoming students since 1963.

We recently opened Melton Guest House in the building next door. This is a boutique hotel for our 40+ students and families.

Our teachers teach on all courses and take an active part in all our activities.

Hours are 0830~1700 (or equivalent), 5 days a week (usually Monday~Friday) plus some Saturday and out of hours.

Qualifications

You will be a DELTA level teacher or equivalent or hold other qualifications. Or have a proven track record in our course types gained at similar institutions. We teach lots of kids and teens so Young-Learner qualifications are a plus. Our 40+ clients come for the English and for the chance to stay in one of Europes top historic cities so an interest (not necessarily a qualification!) in culture, food, history, current affairs, politics etc is a bonus!
