We are a small language school that offers English courses to children aged 4-14. We are looking for one passionate teacher to join us from September 2026 onwards and teach pre-primary and primary school children.

The groups are smaller than in a normal language school with numbers ranging between 6 and 8 children per class which makes teaching a lot easier.
All groups follow textbooks which have a lot of extra resources integrated and a set curriculum. Classrooms are very well-equipped with interactive whiteboards, projectors and laptops.
We also prepare students for the Cambridge exams - Young Learners up to B2 and experience teaching Cambridge represents an advantage.

We are looking for dynamic, flexible, positive and responsible teachers who can show the initiative and creativity needed to make their lessons as motivating as possible. We need teachers who are good team players and who demonstrate that they have it in them to become great educators. Having good classroom management skills is preferable but teachers with little experience are also welcomed to apply as long as they show a willingness to learn and improve, they like sharing ideas, want to discover new ones and they genuinely love working with children.

Due to visa regulations, Romanian and EU nationals will be given preference, as the process is more straightforward.
Knowledge of the Romanian language will be considered an advantage.

Contract period
September 2026 onwards

Main responsibilities
Teach 22 hours a week in the afternoons from Monday to Friday
Planning lessons and following a curriculum
Monitoring student progress and completing progress reports
Attending professional development sessions

The town
We are in a lovely small town of about 20000 inhabitants situated in the North-East part of the country surrounded by beautiful countryside and low mountains. There is an abundance of high-quality sustainably grown produce so if organic is something you are interested in or part of your lifestyle already this is the place for you. The quality is outstanding and the prices are reasonable. As the town is small and compact, everything is within walking distance.

Surroundings
As we are surrounded by low mountains there are plenty of easy hiking trails.
There is a water park one hour away, an adventure park, ski trails, a steam train, a restored salt mine and cozy guesthouses which make the perfect weekend gataway. They are beautifully decorated in the traditional fashion and serve locally sourced freshly made food.
We are also famous for the stunning monasteries which are over 500 years old and still lead an active monastic life.
There is also the possibility to go horse riding and there's even an airfield just outside the town where you could book a flight to see the country from above.
