Due to an unexpected last-minute cancellation, Centro de Estudios John F. Kennedy is urgently seeking a qualified native or native-level English teacher to join our Language Academy in Tehuacn, Puebla. The position begins on August 31, 2026, and applications will be reviewed immediately. Priority will be given to candidates who are currently in Mexico or available to relocate promptly.
The successful candidate will teach motivated middle and high school students using a communicative, student-centered approach that develops confidence, fluency, and real-world language skills. We are looking for a dependable educator who enjoys working with young people and is prepared to become an active member of our school community.
This is an immediate full-time appointment for the 2026-2027 academic year.

Qualifications

Masters

Native or native-level English proficiency.
Bachelors degree in English, Education, Languages, or a related field.
Recognized TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification of at least 120 hours.
Minimum of two years of teaching experience, preferably with teenagers.
Strong classroom-management and communication skills.
Basic or conversational Spanish is preferred but not required.
Valid passport and willingness to complete the Mexican work-visa process.
Professional references and verifiable certificates.
Commitment to the complete academic year, from September 2026 through July 2027.
