Details of Position
Find Education is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced Centre Managers for our centre in London, Wembley. This role involves running a summer camp for 11-18-year-old international students that attend short (1/2-week) residential courses.
July August 2024, starting 15th July.
6 weeks contract.
Residential position.
6 days per week - working hours vary.
Role overview:
Responsibility for the delivery of the overall summer programme, as prescribed.
Management of centre expenses.
Responsibility for the management, supervision and support of all Find Education staff.
On-site management of meals.
On-site management of student accommodation.
On-site management of student transfers and excursions.
Centre administration & on-site operations.
Management of clients requests, complaints and specific arrangements.
EFL TEACHERS
Find Education is inviting applications from qualified EFL teachers for several positions available in London (Tooting & Wembley). This role involves teaching 11-18-year-old international students that attend short (1/2-week) residential courses.
July August 2024, specific dates to be confirmed.
4-6 weeks.
Residential and non-residential positions available.
Residential teachers will teach either 30 hours per week or 15 hours plus supervision of activities and weekend excursions.
Non-residential teachers will teach a minimum of 15 hours per week and up to 30 hours per week. Total weekly hours might include possible supervision of some afternoon educational trips and weekend excursions, depending on the programme.
Working times vary depending on location but most residential positions are 6 days a week. Most non-residential positions are 5 days a week.
Role overview:
To teach general English classes, following the Find Education syllabus
To plan lessons with clear aims
To prepare and produce materials for class
To carry out teaching related administration
To promote the safety and well-being of students
To participate fully in the academic and social life of the centre
Essential Requirements for all positions:
An enhanced DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check will be requested prior to confirmation of all appointments. Where appropriate, foreign police checks will be required.
All successful candidates will need to attend an induction and complete Basic Safeguarding and Prevent Duty training.
Proof of identity and all relevant qualifications will be required and copies of originals will be kept for Find Educations records.
Any gaps in your employment history must be explained and two satisfactory references will be required prior to your appointment.

Qualifications
Qualified to first degree level or equivalent.
Full right to work in the UK.
Essential skills

Ability to manage and deploy staff.
Desirable:
Experience in running a summer school or an international students centre.
First aid training/qualification.
Experience with British Council inspections.
EFL teacher - Minimum qualifications:
Trinity CertTESOL or Cambridge CELTA (or equivalent)
University degree or equivalent.
Full right to work in the UK.
Essential skills:

Responsible attitude towards professional commitments.
Good administrational and teamwork skills.
Desirable:
Experience in teaching in a summer school or teaching international students.
Previous training in first aid.
Salary and Benefits
Residential positions: £700 to £850 per week with full board accommodation, depending on experience.
EFL Teachers:
Residential positions: £400 to £450 per week with full board accommodation, depending on experience and qualifications.
Non-residential positions: £16-£23 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
All salaries include statutory holiday pay (12.07%).
