Egabrum is a language and cultural exchange academy, which embraces both the English language and its culture. We achieve this with the support of excellent English speaking teachers and with the support of the schools founding members.

Egabrum's particular objective is to provide an environment that inspires learners to engage and relate to the English language. So, we are NOT here to simply prop up the existing education system by merely replicating the typical classroom environment.

The aspirations for our teachers are:

To motivate and inspire students to embrace the English language by providing a dynamic interactive learning environment.

To enable our students to communicate in English to a high level of fluency in all aspects of the language.

We aim to do this by;

1. Providing an exciting course structure, clear but not regimented.
2. Actively encouraging teachers to come up with new and exciting lesson ideas that make the classroom setting as relevant as possible to our students.
3. Providing our students with the tools to collaborate with each other on project-based assignments to encourage communication with their teachers and more importantly their peers.
4. Ensuring that a minimum of one craft activity is done on a monthly basis with all learners up to the age of 18.
5. Providing a dynamic process of continuous assessment.
6. Having fun! It is important to remember we are people and that happy people are more productive.

Please note that all candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience working as a teacher. Ideally, the candidate should have some experience in teaching and preparing for Cambridge examinations. Applicants must hold a minimum of a CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL or equivalent qualification.

This role will suit someone who enjoys the outdoors and wants to be in the heart of true Andalusian culture as it is located in the heart of Cordoba. Situated 45 minutes from both Cordoba and Malaga the town is well placed for anyone looking to explore both the mountains and the beaches this region has to offer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning, preparing and delivering lessons.
Preparation of teaching materials.
Ensuring pupils improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills via individual and group sessions.
Checking and assessing pupils work.
Weekly teaching review.
Quarterly Examination and reports.
