Details of Position

Contracts available from late June to early August for 3-5 weeks.
Locations: Radley College, near Oxford (11-14 years); Marymount International School, Kingston-upon-Thames (8-13 years); Winchester College, Hampshire (13-16 years) Shrewsbury School, Shropshire (11-16 years)
Contact hours: Depending on the centre, you will have between 20-21 teaching hours per week + planning, administrative duties, meetings and pastoral duties
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, communicative EFL lessons. Lessons will include engaging activities to help students develop accuracy, fluency and most importantly, confidence in spoken English.
In addition to teaching, you will:
Sleep on-site, normally in a room near the students
Carry out some additional duties e.g. wake-up, bedtime and mealtimes
Attend meetings, plan lessons
Ensure safeguarding and welfare of students and respond sensitively to pastoral matters
We are a family-run organisation with 20 years experience running top quality summer programmes. We have truly multinational courses with limits on each language group. In 2023 we welcomed students of 54 different nationalities. Up to 10% of students are British: our English Student Hosts who are fully integrated with the programme.

We expect staff to work hard: residential staff work a 6-day week with one 24-hour period off per week and some time off on working days. To compensate we offer excellent rates of pay and provide free meals and accommodation at the school.

Qualifications
Must have a UK passport/right to work in the UK at the start of your contract
First degree (any discipline)
CELTA, Trinity TESOL, BEd/PGCE (Primary Education, English or MFL) or EFL Level 5 equivalent (other qualifications will be considered)
Ability to provide a clear and accurate model of the English language
Passionate about teaching and learning
Desirable
Previous summer school experience/International school experience
Experience of teaching multi-lingual classes
Young Learner specialism e.g. TYLEC
Personal Attributes

Job Summary
£693 to £780 gross/week (incl. 12.07% holiday pay) + free meals and accommodation. Salary varies depending on qualifications and experience.
