TEFL.com's Support for Charitable Causes

Each year TEFL.com supports several carefully selected registered charitable causes around the world. Currently we provide financial support to:

Bosnia Herzegovina  -  ADULT AND CHILDREN DOG THERAPY PROGRAM

In 2016 TEFL.com will provide major funding for a Disabled Assistance Dog Therapy Training Programme in Bosnia Herzegovina. The Program, which is coordinated by UK charity Phoenix Aid, aims to train rescued Bosnian street dogs to provide therapy by way of assistance and friendship to adults and children with disabilities.

Sri Lanka MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Building on its sponsorship of the Back to School program in 2015, this year TEFL.com will provide funding for one teacher/mentor and two student/trainee teachers of English in Batticaloa for a period of three years (2016-2018).

International  -  WORLD VETERINARY SERVICE .

WVS provide animal welfare charities all over the world with a sustainable veterinary resource, providing vital aid, which would otherwise not be available.

Asia - ANIMALS ASIA

Animals Asia is devoted to ending the barbaric practice of bear bile farming and improving the welfare of animals in China and Vietnam. We promote compassion and respect for all animals and work to bring about long-term change.

Pakistan -  THE KAGHAN MEMORIAL TRUST In October 2005, the northern area of Pakistan was devastated by an 7.6 magnitude earthquake. The Kaghan Memorial Trust created a school in the memory of the children of the Kaghan Valley who lost their lives in the earthquake. TEFL.com sponsors the education of Ezza, a little girl at the school.
