LEC is a well-established Paris based company with more than fifty years experience in providing quality language courses and activity programs for French students aged between 11 to 14 and 14 to 17 years old. Since 1972, the LEC team has organized more than 300,000 linguistic and cultural stays throughout France, Ireland, Scotland, Malta, Canada, Germany, Spain, the United States, Australia and of course England!
LEC abides by the European standard for language study tour providers (NF EN 14804)

Your key responsibilities:

o Teaching English 15 hours per week to groups of about 12-15 French students aged between 11 to 14 or 14 to 17.
o Accompanying, supporting and supervising students on excursions, and during sports and activities.
o Supervising students during wake-up, meal times and lights out, along with your fellow team members (on a rota basis).
o Duties include all aspects of tuition, monitoring students in the college, as well as leadership and supervision during activities. These are residential courses so an element of pastoral care and evening supervision is required, as well as an engagement in all aspects of life in the college (on a rota basis).
o Working side-by-side with French staff, maintaining proper levels of student discipline, ensuring the well-being, safety and welfare of the students at all times.

o An enhanced DBS check is requested prior confirmation of appointment
o All gaps in CVs must be explained satisfactorily
o Two references are requested and they include enquiry about suitability to work with under 18 years old students.
