WE ARE LOOKING FOR YL/EFL TEACHERS STARTING IN OCTOBER 2024
Your contract will be until the end of May with the possibility of working in June too.
The positions available involve 25 teaching hours per week, no mornings, Monday to Friday.
There is an average of between 4 or 5 lessons per day. Planning, admin and meetings are not part of the 25 hours weekly teaching hours.
You will be teaching YLE 4-10 yrs old,and students up to a C1 level, depending on your timetable and experience.
Teachers are given all the appropriate material and support required. All classes are equipped with interactive boards and white boards.
Lesson will be held in presence or on-line from the school.
Classes last 1.20 minutes. Individual lessons last 1 hour.
Teachers all have set classes while some of the individual lessons may vary weekly.
Regular meetings and training sessions (including exam training sessions) are held regularly

The school is in Villa San Giovanni (RC) a small quiet town facing Sicily, Villa offers all the essential facilities and is 15 minutes train away from the central city of Reggio Calabria and 20 min.ferry away from Sicily.
We help finding suitable accommodation in the centre of Villa.
The school is proud of its friendly but well organised atmosphere.

Degree Required

Teaching experience: 1 years

Native level English speaker preferred

Qualifications

Teachers applying for the available position, must have a Celta (not on-line) a YLE certificate or referenced experience in the YLE exams, Cambridge exams and teaching field.
We are looking for engaging, energetic, reliable, well prepared teachers,who love teaching and being part of a team. At least one year's teaching experience is preferable,but we are willing to train and help less experienced teachers.

Salary and Benefits

Starting at 1200 Euro net per month with 1 year experience and end of year bonus, the contract is up to 25 teaching hours per week. You are still paid your full salary if under your working hours. Christmas, Easter and Bank Holidays all paid.
Teaching days are from Monday to Friday. Legal contract with Italian contributions paid.
Help with finding accommodation in the centre of Villa
Possibility of renewing contract for next teaching year. We will give you the necessary information to arrive to Villa and pick you up from Reggio Calabria's airport or Villa's train station when you arrive
