English Teachers for Summer Junior Programme

ISE is hiring qualified and enthusiastic English Teachers to join our teaching team this summer. Full induction and Continuing Professional Development session given at the start of the programme. All classroom material provided.

Junior Centre Teacher Duties
Our teachers are expected to be punctual and be in the classroom before the students arrive to welcome them. It is essential that our teachers create a positive and motivating learning environment. Furthermore, teachers should establish clear classroom rules (particularly with regards to the use of mobile phones and speaking English only in the classroom).
Juniors must be supervised at all times, by the teachers during class time and by their group leaders during break time and after class. They will not be taken off school premises by ISEs teaching staff. All lessons will be conducted in the centre.

The International School of English , located in Dublin, Waterford city centre is currently recruiting for the following positions:
Junior Programme Teachers: to teach on our summer Junior Programme in June, July until mid August 2024. Morning classes. Students are aged 13 - 17 years old.

Looking to recruit qualified, positive and enthusiastic teachers to plan and deliver communicative and engaging student-centred lessons.

Course programmes are well-designed and well-structured. Teachers will be provided with all necessary materials and support.
Qualifications
Teachers must have an ACELS recognised TEFL certificate:

CELT, CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL

(the Preparatory ELE Cert is also accepted for Junior Programme State Qualified Teachers)

Teachers must also have a degree (level 7 qualification)

Please note that online ELE qualifications and I to I ELE qualifications are not recognised by ACELS for teaching English in the recognised ELE sector in Ireland.
