We offer a diversity of teaching opportunities in a small group setting - ranging from phonics and oral conversations for kindergarteners to creative and analytical writing for primary and secondary students. Besides teaching, our teachers are also involved in curriculum building effort, teachers' workshop and other development programmes to support teachers' personal and professional aspiration and growth.

Westgate aims to shape the future of English education in Japan. We have been providing conversation-based practical English lessons since 1983 and hire over 400 instructors every year. Generations of Japanese students have developed their communicative English skills and cultural awareness on our programs. As well as helping to shape the direction of our students lives and careers, we have also been a gateway to career development for countless English instructors around the world.

Educators oversee three classes, each accommodating up to 24 students at most. They will receive comprehensive support, including lesson plans, educational materials, and training, to facilitate students' progress to a specified proficiency level. While minimal preparation time is required due to the provision of all necessary materials, it is imperative for teachers to grasp the content thoroughly before engaging with their students in the classroom.

Successful applicants who join our team, will find everything they need to work with any level of student on our platform.

Our students range from the ages of 4 years old to 12 year old. Applicants need to be aware, they're applying to work with young learners.

As a teacher it is up to you to use the content provided for the classes, and add your own magic touch to the classes to ensure that they're fun and enjoyable for the students.

Curriculum and Teaching materials are provided. And English speaking director will guide and train you before you start teaching.

- Developing & implementing academic curriculum & educational programs
- Coordinating with team members to align the curriculum with the educationaal goals
- Monitoring students & teachers progress, providing feedback
- Conducting workshops to develop teachers'specific competencies
- Reviewing & updating academic policies & procedures
- Maintaining records of academic performance, progress, and attendance;
- Supporting/ being involved in school outreach events
- Handling issues &supporting staff

Centro Cultural Britanico has two open positions, 1 online specialist teacher to teach remotely and 1 full time teacher to relocate to Costa Rica to teach both online and face to face classes.
