Position Details:
Challenge Acadèmia d'Idiomes, located in the heart of Vilafranca del Penedès, is well-known for its commitment to providing high-quality English language education. While we offer Cambridge English Exam preparation, our primary focus is on developing the oral communication skills of our young learners and teens. Our interactive and immersive approach is designed to build confidence in student's speaking abilities, using creative and engaging methods tailored to their needs.

We are currently looking for passionate and creative English teachers who love working with young learners of English and teens. If you are enthusiastic about fostering language development through fun, hands-on activities and enjoy being proactive, this position is perfect for you.

We are looking for someone who is eager for a long-term, stable position and wants to be part of a committed and established team.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time and permanent seasonal contract (contrato fijo discontinuo) available starting September 14th.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, mainly midday and afternoons, possibly also evenings.
• Skilled in working with groups of different levels, creating a dynamic and nurturing environment where students can develop their language skills.
• Comfortable teaching teens and exam preparation, but also young learners (ages 6-9).
• Focus of lessons is:

• Preparation of original materials such as board games, interactive activities and projects to engage students in effective learning experiences.
• Uniform provided by the academy; wearing it is compulsory to ensure a consistent and professional image.
• Possibility of helping with relocation.

Key Dates:
Academic year is September to June (Mondays to Fridays), July optional (Mondays to Thursdays), incorporation back in September.

Requirements:
At least 2 years of teaching experience.
Experience in creating interactive and original teaching materials.
Skills: creativity, effective communication, knowledge of child development, ability to motivate, organization, conflict resolution, tech-savvy.
Knowledge of IT, CANVA, Google for education tools would be a plus, Cambridge Examination.
Native or near-native level of English (C1-C2).

Teaching experience: 2 years

Cambridge CELTA

• English teaching certification i.e. TEFL, CELTA, TESOL.
• Teaching of Cambridge exam courses (from KEY up to Proficiency).
• B1 level of Spanish. (preferred)
• Right to work in Spain (up-to-date NIE/TIE) MUST
• Native-level competence and pronunciation in English.
• A clear criminal record check and sexual offences' clearance certificates.
• PREFERRED: Only candidates willing to live locally, in Vilafranca del Penedès or nearby towns if you have a vehicle, as public transport is highly unreliable nowadays.
