Details of Position
We are seeking to appoint an Airport Co-ordinator who will work closely with the Marketing Executive, Course Director, and year-round International Education Administrators.
The Airport Co-ordinator will be responsible for co-ordinating the airport transfers for arriving and departing students. In addition, they will provide administrative assistance across all areas, in the run up to, and during, the Summer School. This is a 6-day a week role, however, in the initial period of employment before the Summer School starts, the Airport Co-ordinator will work 3 days per week.
General duties predominantly involve being in regular contact with parents and agents answering any queries they may have and co-ordinating the pre-arrival process (e.g. flight arrivals/departures/pre course testing). Managing the airport transfer process over summer, including liaising with drivers and staff to ensure pick-ups/drop-offs run smoothly. Assisting key members of staff as necessary such as the Director of Studies, Welfare Manager and Activity Manager. Proactively assisting the admin team with other daily tasks as required.
The post holder will also manage the student feedback and report process on a weekly basis and report back to the department managers.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated, show a significant degree of initiative, and be able to work efficiently and calmly, even at times of particular pressure. Inter-personal and logistical skills of an especially high order will be required. The post requires a person of a friendly and co-operative nature, with a flexible approach. First-rate written skills and an excellent command of the English language, with a high level of attention to detail, are essential. Candidates must have strong proficiency in IT, particularly with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications
Essential
Experience in a customer facing role
Strong administrative and IT skills
Proficient with Office 365
Outstanding communication skills and excellent English
Proven skills in logistics and project planning
The ability and willingness to thrive in a very demanding and varied role
Desirable
Previous experience in an administrative role
Previous experience of working at a summer school/international education environment
Previous experience of working within the independent school sector
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to drive a school minibus (training provided)
Salary and Benefits
Earn £670 per 6-day week. 3-day weeks will be pro-rata.
Holiday Pay
All meals provided whilst on duty
