Details of Position
We are currently recruiting teachers for non-residential positions at two summer schools in/near London.
Collingham - Kensington
Location: 23 Collingham Gardens, London, SW5 0HL. Nearest tube: Gloucester Road or Earls Court.
Age range: 5-7, 8-12 or 13-17s
Dates: Mon 22 June or Mon 29 June to Friday 7 Aug (6-7 weeks)
Class times: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 12:30 with afternoon classes or activity supervision 13:30-17:00 available during certain weeks
Contact hours: 17.5 or 35 hours per week
Marymount - Kingston-upon-Thames
Location: Marymount International School, Kingston-upon-Thames, KT2 7PE
Age range: 8-13
Dates: Mon 29 June to Friday 31 July (5 weeks)
Class times: Monday to Thursday 09:30-13:00, Fridays 09:30-16:30
Contact hours: 20 hours per week
Lunch provided free of charge
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, engaging English as a Foreign Language lessons for international children and teenagers.
Lessons are lively, interactive, and fun. Learning activities help students develop accuracy, fluency, and confidence in spoken English. The end-of-week presentations are a fabulous opportunity for students to showcase project work to their families and guests.

Qualifications
Cambridge CELTA
-Hold a valid UK work permit by the start of your employment
-A first degree in any discipline (preferable) CELTA, Trinity TESOL, B.Ed/PGCE (Primary Education, English or MFL) or EFL Level 5 equivalent (other qualifications will be considered)
You need to be able to:
-Provide a clear and accurate model of the English language
-Plan and deliver student-centred, interactive lessons
-Apply classroom management techniques to ensure happy, focused classrooms
-Respond and adapt to feedback, be flexible
To succeed in this role, you should already have experiences:
- teaching groups of children
- accompanying children on school trips (Colllingham only)
- working with international children/teenagers

- Follow our alcohol, smoking and substance abuse policy. As you are working with children, consuming alcohol and substance abuse are not permitted at any time on campus or during working hours. Smokers may only smoke/vape in designated areas when off duty. Staff must be fit to supervise students at all times. Failure to abide by these rules will be treated as a serious disciplinary matter and could lead to immediate dismissal.
