Job Summary

Details of Position

We are seeking talented, motivated, professional and friendly full-time native-level-speaking English facilitators who can commit to a ten-month contract starting in September 2026 to the end of June 2027, with possibility to extend into the next year.

We require friendly, professional teachers who are knowledgeable in English grammar, and who can get students talking while remaining sensitive to the needs of adult learners. Successful candidates will teach about 30/45-minute lessons weekly excluding school holidays. Lessons are to focus on English grammar, conversation and business English. Our students are mainly professional adults who either attend courses in EdCentre's learning facilities or learn in their workplace, teenagers interested in taking international exams; , experience and ability to teach children and teenagers as well as adults is desirable.

While we prefer applications for teachers legally allowed to work in the EU/Schengen Zone (I.e., holders of EU passports or permanent residents of the EU), applicants from outside of the EU will also be considered.

Qualifications

Candidates will ideally have a bachelor’s degree, 1 to 2 years‘ experience teaching abroad and qualifications in Teaching English as a Second Language or Foreign Language (e.g. CELTA, TEFL, etc).

* teachers can expect to earn approximately 38000 Czech Crowns average per month on a self-employed business licence (approximately 30000 NET) or 28000 NET on employment contract
