Learn Lab is looking for experienced teachers to teach English for Professional Purposes. We are a fully remote, online platform connecting specialist teachers with committed business professionals needing to expand their English within highly niche fields.

To meet global demand between 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. UK time, we are seeking specialists from specific regions to provide high-quality instruction during their local daytime. We are currently prioritising the following industry experts in these zones:

Target Regions & Industry Needs:
The Americas (UTC -8 to -3): * Focus: Business, Financial, and Medical English.

Goal: To cover the 9:00 p.m. 2:00 a.m. UK window during your local afternoon and early evening.

Asia-Pacific & Oceania (UTC +7 to +12):

Focus: Legal, Aviation, and Financial English.

Goal: To cover the 11:00 p.m. 8:00 a.m. UK window during your local morning and afternoon.

Middle East & South Asia (UTC +3 to +6):

Focus: Aviation and Legal English.

Goal: To cover the 4:00 a.m. 8:00 a.m. UK "early morning" bridge.

Minimum Rate: We ask our teachers to charge a minimum of £30 per lesson.

Set Your Own Value: We believe teachers know their own value best; thats why we allow you to set your own higher rates.

Transparent Fees: Learn Lab applies a small platform fee on top of your rate, paid by the student. You always receive your full hourly rate, exactly as you set it. No deductions, no hidden fees.

Essential Requirements
Availability: Ability to offer consistent teaching slots between 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. UK time (GMT/BST).

Native-level proficiency of English (IELTS 8.5).
CELTA or Cert TESOL (TEFL may be considered with relevant industry experience).
Minimum two years of teaching experience.

Desirable Criteria
Professional experience in Law, Medicine, Aviation, Finance, or Business.
Based in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, or Middle East.
DELTA, Dip TESOL, or MA in Applied Linguistics.
Cert IBET.
Experience teaching one-to-one or specialized English online.
