The Australian Centre for Education was established by IDP Education in 1992 in Phnom Penh and is the most prestigious English language school in Cambodia. ACE Siem Reap was established two years later and ACE's third campus in Phnom Penh opened in 2015. ACE is a professional organisation promoting high standards of teaching with NEAS International Accreditation since January 2007. Currently, ACE Phnom Penh and Siem Reap have approximately 16,000 part-time students.

With over 33 years in Cambodia, the Australian Centre for Education (ACE) is the largest, longest established, best equipped and most respected ELT school in the country, counting more than 350 teachers, 25,000 students and nearly 1 million alumni in its community. In 2021, ACE became the first school outside Europe to win the prestigious Language Educator of the Year prize at The PIEoneer Awards in London, and received the Digital Innovation in Learning Award in 2022. ACE is part of IDP Education, co-owner of the IELTS test.

Qualifications

ACE is accredited by NEAS, an Australian ESL industry standards body, and the minimum requirement for all applicants is a university degree and a recognized teaching qualification such as TESOL/TEFL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.
