Details of Position
Charterhouse Summer School is dedicated to providing high quality educational experiences for students visiting from all around the world. Alongside a richly motivating and inspiring ESL curriculum, students will be immersed in an intensive programme, which facilitates the opportunity for them to grow both academically and personally. The programme will include English lessons, afternoon activities, and cultural excursions to fascinatingly historical locations.
EFL TEACHERS:
We are looking for exceptional candidates to become part of our team. The extremely rewarding role will require up to 15 hours of high quality teaching per week within the classroom. As part of a positive and supportive team, teachers will be required to prepare and deliver classes, mark work and provide evaluation at the end of the course. Additionally, this residential role will include playing an active part in the running of the overall programme.
Qualifications
: a CELTA /Trinity Cert TESOL or equivalent
: Have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience (summer school experience is desirable)
: Be able to teach a communicative approach and clearly explain aspects of the English language
: Display a positive attitude both inside and outside the classroom
: Be able to creatively adapt materials to suit specific levels and student needs
: Implement a positive and constructive teamwork ethic, working towards a safe, fun and inclusive environment for students and staff alike
: Available to work between two and six weeks in July and August on a fixed term basis
