Details of Position
EFL Teachers are responsible for planning relevant, structured, well-paced, varied and enjoyable English lessons following Bede's syllabus. They will help develop students' language skills, increase their vocabulary base, build their confidence and fluency when speaking English while giving them an insight into popular English culture, habits, traits and beliefs.
We are also looking for Business Studies Teachers to lead exciting, relevant lessons for our new Business Leadership course. Business Studies Teachers are responsible for leading high quality business studies and entrepreneurship skills lessons, they must be able to teach a variety of topics in relation to business, this includes but is not limited to, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Human Resources and Finance. Holding a CELTA/Trinity TESOL Cert., or other Accreditation UK recognised qualification, is not essential but would be beneficial.

The Working Day:
A typical working day for EFL Teachers is from 8:00am to 6:00pm, depending on the course and centre, and consists of teaching lessons in the morning, lunch break, further lessons and up to 3 hours of paid preparation and administrative time in the afternoons.
On Fridays, EFL Teachers work until 7:45pm so they can attend the student Leavers Ceremony which is a great way of engaging with international students from all over the world.
Teachers are required to attend 1x30 minute CPD session per week. The session is aimed at further developing their teaching skills.
EFL Teachers (5 Days) are entitled to 2 days off at the weekend, Saturday and Sunday.
EFL Teachers (6 Days) are entitled to 1 full day off per week, usually a Saturday or Sunday.
We have a variety of contracts available at all 5 of our centres - Eastbourne (6-11yrs), Windlesham (8-13yrs), Dicker (12-17yrs), Lancing (13-17yrs), Brighton (15-20yrs).
We are also looking for Centre Directors, Academic Managers, Welfare Managers, Senior Teachers, Senior Activity Leaders, Senior House Parents, Activity Leaders, House Parents, Academic Administrators, Administrators and Airport Coordinators.

Salary and Benefits
*EFL Teachers (6 Days): £730.00 per week + 12.07% (holiday pay*) - total weekly pay £818.11
*EFL Teachers (5 Days): £600.00 per week + 12.07% (holiday pay*) - total weekly pay £672.42
*NQT (6 Days): £650.00 per week + 12.07% (holiday pay*) - total weekly pay £728.45
*NQT (5 Days): £550.00 per week + 12.07% (holiday pay*) - total weekly pay £616.38
* The % stated is in line with statutory holiday pay and could be subject to change. Holiday pay is received with each salary payment.
