O'CONNELL'S SCHOOL in Rende, Calabria, is looking for a qualified and dedicated DIRECTOR OF STUDIES.

Our well-established and lively language school has provided language courses to individuals and companies for over 30 years. We believe quality is key and strive to offer a professional service to all our students and customers.

O'Connell's School is a Cambridge English authorised exam centre and is a member of AISLi, an Italian association of Quality schools.

Degree Required

Applicants should have one of the following required qualifications:
Cambridge DELTA, Trinity DipTESOL, Masters MA TESOL, MA TEFL, International diploma in Language Teaching Management (IDLTM)

Teaching experience: 3 years

Native level English speaker preferred

Qualifications

Trinity Dip TESOL or proven equivalent qualifications accepted.

Native level speaker of English: C2 certified proficiency across the four skills. Preferred certification: Cambridge Proficiency

Salary and Benefits

NET salary of 1550 Euros per month, plus benefitS:
*"Tredicesima" bonus of approximately 1 month's salary for each full year worked
*End-of-contract bonus of approximately 1 month's salary for each full year worked

Job Summary

As the Director of Studies, you will be responsible for the smooth running of our courses, including testing, timetabling, allocating classes, providing ongoing guidance and support to teachers, carrying out observations and running teacher development sessions, developing customer support and satisfaction.
You will also work to ensure the curriculum is delivered effectively and meets the standards of our accrediting bodies.
